GripSeal tailor-made quick connector for air conditioning refrigeration devices allows rapid connection to the air conditioning compressors, evaporators, condensers, expansion valves, copper pipe fittings, and plate radiators under high pressure in a safe and reliable manner, doubling testing efficiency.

Project Requirements
During the production process of air-conditioning refrigeration, various tests such as high-pressure tests, operation tests, filling of refrigerant or lubricating oil etc. are required for compressors, evaporators, condensers, copper pipe fittings, plate radiators, etc. The test pressure is as high as 50bar or more, especially for some large-diameter pipe fittings, the connection challenge is very great. Some traditional methods include plug cap welding, copper pipe fitting welding, thread winding raw material belt, thread plus ordinary O-ring or ordinary connector.
1. Wielding poses a threat of high-temperature explosion because all the on-site refrigerant are flammable, which requires multiple processes such as welding and cutting etc., resulting in pipe fittings wastes. In addition, oxidation needs to be removed.
2. For thread-wound raw material belts, the possibility of slight leakage is significantly increased under high pressure or high airtightness environment. Once slight leakage occurs, the entire test project needs to be redone, or expensive engineering maintenance and analysis is needed if misjudged. Moreover, the risk of residues of raw material means that the cleaning will be time-consuming.
3. Ordinary low-cost connectors cann't be locked under high pressure or are not equipped with a pressure-assisted locking design, and thus are at a significant risk of flying out, causing safety accidents under extreme circumstances, especially in large-diameter high-pressure testing, which is highly unsafe. In order to reduce the production costs, some connectors require the operator to make precise adjustments. In case of adjustment error or nonproficient operation, the probability of the connector flying out will go up sharply.

For copper tubes, aluminum tubes, mild steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, titanium pipes and other straight pipes with a hardness lower than HRC35 degrees, our G30/G35 straight pipe connectors can provide reliable sealing up to 70Bar, with strong and high-hardness minions and auxiliary clamping design inside, safe gripping key, and provide airtight leakage above 10E-6 level. It is a safe and reliable solution for compressor pressing or other connection components.
For expanded copper tubes, aluminum tubes, mild steel pipes and other expansion tubes with a hardness lower than HRC35 degrees, our G70K series and G70K-HF series can meet the reliable sealing of 50 bar. Among them, G70K can meet most of the air tightness test and withstand pressure test needs, while G70K-HF is a high-flow version, which meets the requirements of high flow pressure and high temperature for compressor and other operation tests.
For R1/2, R3/4 internal thread, you can choose G80 female connector, some radiators to do water pressure will be airtight leak detection, it only takes one second to reach the sealed connection, and can withstand pressure more than 350bar.
For some SAE male threads or R male threads, you can choose G60 series or G85 series to do factory testing of the whole machine, or parts testing or lubricating oil infusion, the pressure can reach 50bar or 200bar, which is very stable and durable, safe and reliable.
